Remembrance Day
Our Remembrance Day Assembly will be on Friday, Nov 8 at 1pm and all are welcome. No school on November 11.
Remembrance Day Legion Poster & Essay Contest
The deadline to submit black & white, color posters and essays will be Nov 14th as a member of the Legion will be picking them up that day. More information will come from the classroom teacher. We have a lot of talented students in our school and have been very successful in previous years.
15 Nov (Friday) - We will be having a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. Please provide lunch if your child does not like grilled cheese.
22 Nov (Friday) - Teacher PD, no school for students.
25 Nov (Monday) - District Shutdown, no school for students.
Christmas Bazaar & Fun Day!
Start cleaning out your unwanted treasures! Our Christmas Bazaar and Fun Day is back on December 6th beginning at 1pm. We’re back with games, raffles, flea market tables, face painting, pictures with Santa, baked goods, fun fun fun!
We are accepting the following: household items, toys, games, books, electronics, seasonal crafts and decor……we cannot accept used (opened) makeup or used stuffies. All items donated must be clean and in good condition. Anyone making delicious baked goods are asked to have them here on December 5th. Please remember our food allergy restrictions.

please make sure your child has a water bottle for school

all food must be fully cooked upon arrival for heat ups. K cups, dinner entrees etc., take up extra time for our volunteers.

Schedule
Please note that all timings will remain the same, as well as our lunch and recess time.
Doors Open - 8:25 am
Instruction Begins - 8:40am (Please make sure students are on time)
Recess - 10:10-10:30 am
Lunch - 12:00-12:40 pm
Dismissal - 2:40pm
Parking Lot and Safe and Caring School Policy
Please be extra careful in the pickup line. If you are dropping your child off in the morning, please let them out at the door without parking. In the afternoon, students will be dismissed through the main school entrance. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students safe.
Breakfast Program/Recess/Lunch
We will be offering grab and go types of breakfast items starting on Sept 9th. Please make sure your children have a packed recess and lunch and to include a spoon/fork if needed. There will be no heatups for the time being.
Heatups will be available once we get our volunteers in place. A synervoice message will be sent home at that time.
Volunteers
Our programs are dependent on our volunteers, if you are interested in volunteering please fill out the form that is with the student forms.
Bussing
This year we have 2 buses. You will find a copy of the bus route on the school website. Bus students will be expected to be at the bus stop five minutes prior to pick up. The bus will not be able to wait for students that are not at the stops..

Please send back the forms that are sent home to your teacher by Friday, September 6th.

Food Allergy
Please be advised that we have a student and teacher with a severe life threatening allergy. Students are not permitted to bring in the following:
peanuts/mixed nuts or anything that could contain peanuts/mixed nuts,
All fish/seafood,
Oranges, tangerines and mandarins.
